The current debate about “global warming” is naive,  in many ways

For one thing, the “solution” of “cap and trade” and the ridiculous machinations of corporations and governments around the issue is strange.    It won’t solve the problem, and it’s a recipe for corruption, manipulation, and more.

BUT, that does NOT mean we should ignore mother nature.

Hello !!  Can’t you see… bigger storms, more often, tsunamis, earthquakes, solar flares???

Mother nature is NOT happy about pollution, and we CAN do something about that.    Stop and think for a moment about what this “cap and trade” stuff means.     Imagine if I said to you, “may I dump a pile of my crap and dangerous stuff in your yard if I pay you a lot of money ? ”   What a pile of … you know what..

But, it’s not just humans that is changing the climate. We’re in a natural cycle.. DUH !!   we have tons of evidence from the past that stuff happens… like “little ice ages”, and droughts, and asteroids, and volcanos, and tsunamis, and solar flares, and ………….

But, oh, we need malls, and stuff to buy, and we have things to do in our life…

Mother nature always wins folks…

let’s learn from the past and get real..

we are tiny beings on a huge planet in a huge system..

We either live close to nature and get along, or we die.

FACTS

Earth’s climate is changing globally, fast. Overall, our planet is warming and we can’t stop it.    The reasons are debatable but the fact is not.   Polar ice is melting, so is the ice on Greenland and glaciers around the globe.    That will accelerate climate change, raise sea levels, and disrupt whole countries and regions during the next few decades.    Earth is not the only planet in the solar system that’s warming.

Earth has been hit by things flying through space, many, many times. In fact, just 101 years ago in N. Siberia, something from outer space ALMOST hit, exploding above ground and flattening millions of trees in a flash.    There are craters all around the globe, and every planet in our solar system has craters.   Space is not empty.    It’s full of stuff, most of which is moving very fast and worse yet, much of it is invisible to our eyes.     Other planets in our solar system have been hit recently, too.    Jupiter got hit by a large comet not long ago.   On October 8, 2009, a meteor exploded above Malaysia with the force of a 50,000 ton bomb, activating weapons sensors hundreds of miles away.

Cultures around the world have many myths and stories of huge global cataclysms, plus many smaller ones.   In fact, Native American legends talk of 4 previous world destructions, and say there will be one more.    For some reason, and in many parts of the world, long ago many people actually lived underground most of the time, and not just for a few years, but whole generations of people!   I wonder why.

Astronomy and geology

At this time, the sun is in a solar minimum that is extraordinarily quiet. Usually, after a quiet minimum, solar storms start raging and could send spikes of cosmic electricity our way.   Scientists and governments know these waves could wipe out TV, GPS,  and all satellite communication forms.   If strong enough, a galactic pulse could shut down almost all electronic equipment on earth.   The next peak of the solar flare cycle that lasts 11 years is?   Right around 2012.   As of October 24, 2009, another solar flare cycle is starting.    At least one well known astrophysicist has said very publicly that they had underestimated the strength of the next solar storm peak by a factor of 20.

The Earth’s celestial pole and the magnetic pole are different. Right now earth’s magnetic pole is near, but not on, the celestial pole ( axis of rotation ).    Maps for aviation, for example, have to show magnetic corrections to true north.   This could change.   It certainly HAS changed many times in earth’s history.

Our earth’s magnetic field has shifted many, many times before, and fast too ! There’s a good deal of cosmic electricity / magnetism that’s part of the Earth’s composition.   It’s affected deeply by the sun’s energy.   Physicists don’t understand completely why and when magnetic pole reversals happen, but they do.   Electricity is a raw force and it travels very fast.   If we get an electrical storm displacement or shift, it could be almost instant.    Our planet could lose virtually ALL satellites in one day.    Even if the Earth itself is not hit directly, if our infrastructure is destroyed our way of living will completely change.

Our earth’s poles ( rotational axis ) also shift sometimes, and there’s lots of proof of that.    When the celestial pole shifts, earth tilts on it’s axis a bit, creating total chaos on the earth.    In order for something so huge as Earth to tilt there would have be some imbalance in the current weight distribution of the planet.   That could happen if massive amounts of water or ice, shifted temporarily.    Depending on the volume displaced, the earth could shift a little, or a lot.    Even if earth shifted only a few degrees, climate around the globe would be immediately altered forever.     Many people will need to move.

It just so happens that our sun is entering, or is in, what is called the galactic equatorial plane, a band of supremely high energy that circles our galactic center like the bands of Saturn.    This is a normal part of its huge orbit that takes around 26,000 years.   The last time the sun moved through this band was around the end of the last glacial period, when hundreds of species of animals went extinct, mammoths frozen instantly because whole sheets of ice slid across the earth.

People have long been obsessed with watching the stars and sky for thousands of years.   There were good reasons for that. They were probably terrified about what comes from the sky.    People who were left on earth after the end of the ice age passed down the stories, and the trauma, hoping nobody would ever forget.   They often built large  using huge stones, and created buildings that lasted hundreds of years.    They knew something we have forgotten;   worlds can collide.

Most stars, around 80 percent, are binary.   They have a tiny brown dwarf sibling, AND, some of those smaller suns have planets going around them as well, plus moons and other debris.   Our sun probably has a sibling that we can’t see because it shines in infrared.

The Sumerians said they knew about it, and they called it the destroyer. They called the period of its arrival “the crossing”, an event that occurs every 3,700 years or so.    Doing the numbers, in a 26,000 period of our sun’s major cycle, there would be 2 crossings of the galactic ecliptic, plus about 6 passages of the brown dwarf companion SYSTEM, a total of 8 huge events in 26,000 years.   PLUS, many other things, like comets and asteroids, volcanos, earthquakes, and other earth-shaking events.      Modern culture could be said to be only 1,000 years or so, and that’s stretching it.    Most people are only vaguely aware of anything beyond maybe 600 years.     That’s a very short memory for a culture to have.

Why don’t we see our solar companion ? It’s far away, shines in light we can’t see, and comes close ( millions of miles ) to our sun only rarely, once ever 3,600 years or so.   It’s passage is dramatic, but we only have ancient stories to go by, and people argue about them instead of investigating them.

Countries around the world are spending huge sums of money trying to find brown dwarfs, distant planets, comets, and asteroids, because they know things come this way.   An international team is now permanently in the Antarctic operating the INFRARED South Pole telescope.  They’re looking for something that shines in infrared.   Governments are being kind of secretive about it, too.   Just recently, another special satellite has been launched to do a wide area search for infrared objects and other cosmic debris.

Our seas and oceans are in a terrible crisis. That’s obvious.  We’re losing incredible amounts of fish, shellfish, coral, and other unreplaceable life.   There are also major problems with droughts, such as a horrible one in Australia lasting 15 years.    Even plant species are dying out.    If things proceed as they are it will be extremely bad in less than 100 years, and that’s WITHOUT anything from the sky.

We are unable to reverse this trend. First, the political will is not there, and time is running out.  We are up against problems that took decades to create and they won’t be solved in a few year because it’s impossible.

Oh, one more thing to ponder;     many governments AND corporations that work closely with the governments are being very silent.    There is a major disinformation campaign apparently designed to keep the public in the dark.    That by itself should tell us all something.

It’s good to pause for a bit when looking at all the facts.   It’s overwhelming.   When you put it all out there it’s rather startling and there are many more facts we haven’t mentioned.    Do your own research.   Take notes if you must.   Download videos and audio interviews with responsible and very credible investigators.

Moon and Venus near a conjunction

Moon and Venus near a conjunction

It’s impossible to overestimate the importance of navigation.    Without it there would be no trade, no discovery, no war, no culture.     It’s clear that in the far distant past some people were navigation geniuses.    How did they do it?      Read about Crichton Miller’s amazing REINVENTION of a very simple, extremely effective, and accurate ancient navigation and measuring tool.

Long before maps, people learned to navigate by the observing the stars, sun, moon, and planets.   Because the positions of the close celestial bodies like the moon move frequently, they primarily depended on what what was called “fixed stars”.     Those stars that were very high towards the poles were visible all year long, so these were particularly important.   At very high latitudes, of course, there are periods when it’s always daylight.

Navigation by fixed stars locates the observer at a position on our planet that is relative to those stars, ( sidereal ), so it does not depend on a magnetic compass.     In fact, sidereal navigation can be much more accurate than magnetic navigation, because the magnetic north pole is not at the same place as the true north pole.     If you navigate by magnetic north only you will need to use a “magnetic correction ” adjustment, of as much as 18 degrees, depending on where you are on Earth.    In addition, there are areas on the planet where the magnetic readings are disturbed and unreliable for a variety of reasons.

Celestial Navigation Site

When people marked their repeated observations onto the ground, they formed circles.     The inevitable conclusion they came to is that the earth is a sphere, it is moving through space, moves in an arc,  and the arcs of the celestial bodies can be measured and calculated.    The math that results from those observations is astronomy and spherical geometry.    Researchers have found stone and bone circles all around the world.     There is a good reason for this.

Some cultures like the Sumerians and Egyptians used a remarkable math system of base 60, allowing them to easily calculate values related to 360 degrees, which is close to the 365 days of earth orbit around the sun.   There is a proposition, supported by good evidence, that at one time the earth orbit period was 360 days, and after a major event began a 365 day orbit.    The Egyptian pyramids demonstrate that some people knew spherical geometry and sidereal navigation a very long time ago.    The builders were very smart people.

Because we know for sure that many ancient peoples travelled long distances with relatively small boats, as well as on camels, elephants, horses, and yaks, and on foot, we must assume that among these people were some who were experts at celestial navigation.  In fact, it’s likely that many people learned to navigate because it was so critical to survival.

Do you know how to navigate ?   Do you even know what direction your front door faces?

By watching the sky, one can calculate seasons and provide a time-keeping scale that organizes human activity.     Making frequent measurements over time leads to an understanding of spherical geometry, because the movements of heavenly bodies proceed in arcs.   They are very precise movements too so our celestial canopy is truly a clock.    Ancient navigators used that very effectively.     Spherical geometry is an extremely useful knowledge to have because it can be applied to navigation, timing, building construction, and much more.

Build a star finder / tracker

Previous global catastrophe causes planetary reset.

It’s my belief that after the end of the last ice age, when the collapse of the northern glaciers occurred, human beings had to basically restart civilization.  There were many small remnants of people left on the earth at that time.    Some of these groups were far more knowledgeable, or technically literate, than others.   Some knew how to build boats and some did not.    Some knew how to navigate, and others didn’t.   Some were good at agriculture, and others were best at hunting or fishing.   Some of them got stranded on islands, just like some animals did.

Most people started watching the sky religiously because of the events that had happened.     They developed short and long term calendars in an effort to forecast possible dangers.    They tried to tell future generations about the earth and sun’s journey through the galaxy, the earth’s rotation and its cosmic wobble.   Sometimes they went way up into the mountains to get away from any future floods.

I believe also that the earth probably shifted slightly on its axis at least once, so one of the first things people did was mark the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial objects in order to determine the NEW calendar and their star-centered, or sidereal, location on earth.    They used stone circles and other kinds of observatories to do that, resulting in places like Stonehendge and the Mayan pyramids.    These were sometimes developed over many centuries, that’s how important it was for them.     Even today, we stand in awe of these structures, and wonder how they were built and what they were used for.

So, it has taken thousands of years for our modern world to develop, after getting a major reset long ago and hitting some serious bumps along the way.   We do not know much about any civilization that may have existed back then because so much was utterly devastated by the sea, ice, volcanoes, and other cataclysms.   Therefore, we should not expect to find a lot of evidence because it was destroyed completely or buried, sometimes in hot magma.

The population of “developed” civilizations may have been a small percentage of the total earth population, and these more developed cultures may have been spread far apart.   So, it’s really not surprising to me that we don’t find much evidence.   We do find plenty of  stories, however, and those stories are very, very interesting.    In fact, they are shocking.    They declare that there have been many times in the past where there was massive, global, and ABRUBT, geological cataclysms upset the planet.

To put this into perspective, in the past 100 years our civilization was traumatized by 2 world wars, Hiroshima, some major tsunamis, earthquakes, and so on, and our society is intent on preserving the memories.     The stories we hear from long ago talk about events that were much, much greater than anything in modern records.    They talk about worldwide trauma, mostly because of geological, or astronomical events.
