Last 150 years – events

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Earth is a VERY active place, geologically, and electrically.

Just in the last 150 years we’ve had several large solar storms that affected radios around the world.      We’re overdue for one of those.   Earthquakes and volcanos are too numerous to mention, but a few, like volcano Krakatoa in 1883, have affected the climate.  The earthquake in Alaska in 1964 was enormous.     There have been some serious disease outbreaks in that time period too.

Oh, and incidentally, there have been many thousands of UFO sightings just in the last 50 years.

1850 –   1900  warming period  ( Victorian era )

1857    Earthquake 7.9   California

1859    Massive solar storm, strongest in history ( no satellites back then )

1864 Civil war, USA

1877   Earthquake, Ecuador

1883   Volcano, Krakatoa –  HUGE ash darkened earth

1896   Earthquake 8.5, Japan

1906  San Francisco Earthquake

1908 Meteor, Tunguska Russia.   flattened millions of trees.

1921    Geomagnetic storm, strongest in 20th century.  ( May 14 )

1926  great aurora borealis, hurricane, Miami

1930′s  western USA   almost a whole decade of devastating dust storms, droughts

1933  busiest hurricane season ever

1938   Aurora Borealis huge

1939-1945   world war, atomic bombs dropped

1942  Discovery of solar radio emission by J.S. Hey

1947   Major sunspots interrupted radio worldwide

1948   Earthquake Turkmenistan HUGE

1958   Sunspots, radio problems

1960  Earthquake, largest in history, Chile

1964  Earthquake, 9.2  Alaska  2nd largest in history

1970  Earthquake, Peru

1980  Volcano Mt. St. Helens

1987 Supernova – first one visible for 380 years

1980′s to now — many, many large earthquakes, too many to list

2004   Tsunami / ocean quake  Waves traveled many hundreds of miles.

2009   sun spot cycle extremely quiet

Remember;   “2012″ is a period of time, not a day or year.    Multiple events are occurring as a result of new energy coming into the solar system.    Pressure is building, and there will likely be some very big events.

Watch for the following things that could signal an immanent event or one that is occurring.

sudden change in bird migrations and animal restlessness.

unusual tides and winds,   distant smoke, uncommon clouds.

on a practical note….. watch for unusual activities of  military aircraft, first responders.

If the earth starts to shift on its axis, you will notice stars being in different places.    Wind will increase and sharp air pressure differences will sweep widely over large areas.

Unusual lighting, apparent difference in spectrum of light and its angle.

Here are some scenarios that are very likely in the near future.

1.   Polar ice passes a tipping point, and a large chunk slides off Greenland or the Antarctic.    This will produce tidal waves over long distances.   It would also change the weather big time.   This would set up droughts in some areas.

2.   Large storms such as hurricanes and tornados will get much more frequent.    Sooner or later, multiple cities around the world will have endured such storms and not be able to fully recover.

3.   Solar flares that knock out some satellite transmissions, or power supplies.

4.   Continued large and frequent earthquakes around the world.     Search recent earthquake activity on Google and bookmark sites.

5.   Extreme weather changes, such as the recent drought in western Australia.   Blizzards, multiple tornados.

6.  Continued drying up of some large lakes in the world.    This causes an imbalance in the ecosystem, species extinctions, etc.

7.  A possible pole shift.      Now, this is very dramatic but here’s how it could happen.   If the ice on Antarctica slides off the continent, it will send      massive amounts of water north, changing the distribution of mass enough to disturb the earth’s rotation.   That water would slosh around the worlds coasts causing total devastation.    It would likely go inland also up to a few hundred feet above current sea levels.   Eventually the sloshing would subside, but things would be forever different on earth.  A pole shift could also occur due the influence of another large celestial body or group of bodies.

8.   One particular unusual thing could happen.    We could see an unusual light of a different frequency flood the earth.   In the same way that we see the moon light and other lights while the sun is shining, so we could see a rare type of light come into our atmosphere from beyond the sun.    That would probably freak a lot of people right out of their gourds.   In the same way that basking in sunlight feels wonderful, we could enter a band of amazing light that feels really invigorating and healing.   How long this would last is anyone’s guess.

9.   There’s a good chance that some people will have to live in underground shelters for awhile.   Excessive solar radiation or dust / debris in the air could cause that.    Large undergound shelters exist in may places on the planet, including most of the major cities.     Excessive radiation from the sky may not be apparent.    some types of dust could be manageable for short periods, using underground facilities.
